Should you stop having your website designed?

If you are currently in the progress of having a new website designed and programmed or your current one updated then you may wonder if it is the right time to proceed. Many parts of the UK have been advised to work from home where possible and for some businesses it has meant they are needed to close or cut down on their work load. Luckily the web design industry often allows people to work remotely from home so this may mean that your project can continue.

Firstly you need to speak to the company you are working with or the freelancer and check that they are still happy to continue working on the site. Also consider your finances, are you still able to pay the if your company has to shut. If the answer is no then you may need to put it on hold, otherwise there is no reason not to continue as planned.

Although face to face meetings can be handy, this may not be possible so get used to using video calling such as Skype or Facetime. This will allow for an issues to be sorted out quickly without delay.
